V/A - Mother's Love EP

Nordic Trax celebrate 100 releases with original works from three of our favourite producers: Gavin Froome, Jon Delerious and Finest Wear. Yes it has taken us a while to reach this milestone – but it has always been about quality over quantity at NT and we stand firmly behind this catalogue.

At the beginning of this year as we entered our twenty-second year we sadly lost our number one fan: label matriarch Catherine McKeehan passed peacefully in February of this year. She was a champion of the performing arts in Canada and this EP is dedicated in her honour to all the mothers out there trying to make the world a better place.

As the title suggests, this ep is inspired by a mother's love and the dedication required to raise a child in the modern world. As label owner Luke McKeehan says: "Quite simply this label would not exist were it not for the commitment of my single mother, putting in all the hard work and inspiring my creativity. She will be greatly missed and we are proud to carry on her spirit."
